Christi Bradham, Owner and Master Stylist, shares the excitement of offering Smashbox, known for its unsurpassed quality, at both the original location in Historic Reynolda Village, and the newer location, Aeracura Salon and Spa West in the heart of Clemmons.
In keeping with Aveda’s always 100% naturally derived products, Smashbox is a high-quality, Los Angeles-based makeup brand founded by the great-grandsons of Hollywood makeup legend, Max Factor. Designed for professional makeup artists, the line was actually created in a Los Angeles photo studio, with an emphasis on achieving flawless, camera-ready looks. It’s been the go-to for professional makeup artists for over 25 years.
Smashbox’s formulas align with Aveda’s mission to never include parabens, phthalates, or fragrances, and to always be 100% cruelty-free. Smashbox does not test on animals, nor do they sell their makeup products in countries who require it.

“Within our Aeracura tribe we have several master stylists, and I want to point out four of them specifically, who have been with Aeracura Salon for six years!” says Christi. “I’m especially proud of Amanda Morris and Clara Myers at our Clemmons location, and Krista Crafton and Maddie Marrs at our Reynolda location. It’s been a great accomplishment to watch them learn and grow as artists in their craft, and in their careers. They have worked so hard over the years, through all the ups and downs, and I wanted to give them a little shout-out to show my appreciation!”
Christi admits she’s impressed every single day as she spends time at each Aeracura location, watching each individual talent bloom — from budding new stylists, to the experienced masters. “Our mission is to wholeheartedly support each other as a large family,” she adds. “It’s a tight-knit group, and I am grateful for them all! Every person in our tribe has a true love and passion for making our guests look and feel their very best!”
