SHANNON KEMP, OWNER

Shannon Kemp, owner of Style Encore, made a career change five years ago from health care to resale, and the same drive to provide patient satisfaction and excellent care transferred beautifully to her current role. “Giving personal attention to women to ensure they feel comfortable and confident in their clothing for everyday wear, work, weight loss journey, or any special occasion is extremely rewarding,” shares Sharon. Simply put, “Knowing the customers are happy makes me happy!”

Shannon is proud of her team members, affectionately called “the ladies.” “We are like a family here, and everyone works together to meet the needs of customers – those who buy and those who sell,” says Shannon. SHARON COLLINS, MANAGER

Sharon Collins, manager of Style Encore, is essential to the success of Style Encore. For the past three years, she has led the team with passion, energy, and great care. “When I think about the ladies, I think about a family. We have fun together, trust one another, and affectionately refer to ourselves as ‘the sisters,’” says Sharon. On days when it is particularly busy, Sharon can direct the team with ease and confidence because they are trained for all positions – posts on the floor, behind the counter, dressing rooms, etc. Sharon provides an apt analogy: “The Style Encore team is like a well-oiled machine. Akin to a gorgeous watch, all the individual parts working together behind the scenes to make the magic happen.”

THE LADIES

Wardrobe Stylist

Margo enjoys the comradery with her co-workers and is quick to note that they are like a family that gets along really well and knows how to have fun! Her love of budget-friendly fashion and “playing dress up” is the perfect fit for her role as a personal stylist. She enjoys pulling together amazing outfits based on completed customer profile sheets and watching them “ooh and aah” in front of the full-length mirrors!

Cheerleader

Sydney, self-proclaimed Style Encore team cheerleader, knows that bringing positivity and energy to the customers and her “sisters” is a recipe for success. Sydney’s bubbly personality and passion for what she does spills over to the showroom floor. “I love helping people find the perfect outfit that makes them feel good and gives them confidence whether it is for a job interview, date night, or even a Mad Men party (think 1960s).

Encourager

Debbie loves working alongside her Style Encore “sisters” behind the scenes and on the floor in what can frequently be characterized as a “beehive of activity.” She deeply cares about “the ladies” and continually looks for ways to support each one. Debbie reports that because everyone has a strong work ethic, as a team, they can churn out many tasks in a short amount of time while remaining upbeat and positive.

Movers and Shakers

Savonna, Karina, Stephanie, and Ashley round out the Style encore team. They are hardworking, productive, collaborative, and dedicated to customers’ satisfaction. Reportedly, it is the mutual respect and playfulness of the Style Encore team that contributes to the overall tone of the workplace atmosphere.
