April – already?!?! But here we are! So much is going on and time is flying by. I have to first thank everyone for your prayers, emails, and cards. Tim is still recovering, but working hard in physical therapy and doing beautifully! And I was finally able to start my radiation treatments so, needless to say, we have plenty of appointments to keep track of. But we both have exceptional medical teams and are very grateful! We are also so thankful for your continued prayers for both of us!
We are super excited to feature our friends at Piedmont Federal Savings Bank on the cover of this month’s issue. Their Front Inside Cover ad (page 2) is a beautiful view of downtown Winston-Salem from their fabulous office on Stratford Road. It’s absolutely stunning, and of course – these are such special people. You know how we love supporting local, and this organization is a prime example of how impactful local business is to our community.
Speaking of local – don’t forget to support local this Easter! From your Easter dresses to your Easter portraits to Easter lunch reservations, our local advertising partners can help you out!
We are also super excited about a new advertiser in our magazine – The Office Nerd Virtual Assistant. This is our very own, Denise Heidel. Many of you know that Denise worked for us full-time until 2017 and has continued with us as a writer ever since. By starting her own business, Denise is going to be more available to us, and we are so excited about that! Her article can be found on page 62.
I have to take a moment to brag too… we have an article in this month’s issue about my niece, nephew, and their children, on page 24. We miss them like crazy, but we are so proud of them. Please read our special shout out about Carrie and Miles!
We hope to see you on April 9th at GNO! We’re going to be at Village Inn Event Center’s Crosby Pub and that ALWAYS promises to be a great GNO experience! All the details can be found on our GNO ad on page 27.
As always, your loyalty means the world to us! We are so blessed by you, and it’s an honor to be a part of your lives each month. Thank you for reading, and please let our advertisers know you saw them in this month’s issue! Please make sure their advertising dollars – which make these free publications possible each month – are being well-spent!
