Dr. Debbie Lanier

Dr. Debbie Lanier has been a Forsyth Woman columnist since March, 2012. Her educational studies range from psychology and counseling to ministry and leadership. Each of these areas focus on a great passion in her life – helping people! Debbie is married to her forever love, Dr. Paul Lanier. Together, they have two incredible children, Kaylyn and Paul. Their adult children spend their days loving God and serving others. Now, their wonderful son-in-law, Tut, ministers too. And did we mention the grandbaby, Hadassah Hope! Debbie and her husband started Hope Community Church in 1990 and continue to invest themselves in an ever-growing congregation. Debbie speaks both locally and globally. She has written three books available on Amazon and HopeCommunityChurch.tv. Her deepest passion is helping people find real purpose in the journey. She believes if you’re still breathing, God’s STILL writing your story with real hope in every sentence! No matter what you’re facing in this moment, it’s not over until God says so!
