Is God real? Inquiring minds want to know!
Even those, ESPECIALLY THOSE, who deny God’s existence secretly contemplate this as they reach the end of their rope and need someone bigger to do the heavy lifting.
Consider this. At any given second of the day or night, 20 different people search the internet for, “Is God Real?”
Let your mind compute what I just said. Twenty people PER SECOND ask Google if an actual God is out there somewhere!
When the world’s foundations shake and our lives feel tossed like dice, we get to the end of ourselves QUICK! No matter how self-sufficient we consider ourselves, we suddenly feel ridiculously small and out of control.
Because we are literally created BY God and exist FOR God, our hearts are restless until we find our rest and purpose in HIM!
While Christians sometimes do a poor job of describing and displaying the authenticity of this Marvelous and Wonderful God, it never diminishes the Magnificence of who He is! He’s infinitely greater, better, stronger, wiser AND closer than we imagine!
In the turbulence of our times, severe anxiety and depression have accelerated right off the charts! Five minutes of morning news is enough to keep you horizontal, hiding, never venturing beyond your safe space.
Friend, calamities are here. More are coming. If you already wear crisis fatigue, you’re in big trouble without some real changes…now! I don’t know much, but I know this…in the nearing months, there’s going to be a WHOLE LOT of shaking going on!
I don’t say this to scare you. I say it for the sake of preparing you.
We already cart around levels of stress our bodies simply cannot keep carrying. The long-term effects put people in the grave long before their time. We must look to Someone who is more than able to carry us and all we carry!
Is God real? Somewhere deep down in your knower, you know He is. The evidence far outweighs any arguments against this reality. TRULY! It takes much more faith to deny God than it takes to believe in Him! (A great book for skeptics is “Is Atheism Dead?” by Eric Metaxas. Check it out!)
But folks, it’s not enough to believe God is real! So, what if He’s legit, if He is so entirely disconnected and detached from me and all that matters to me?!
Good news…God is as close as you want Him to be!
If you’re wondering or if you’re wandering…please know this All-Knowing and Ever-Faithful Father who made you for Himself is not out of reach. He doesn’t hide from you, and you can never hide from Him. He delights in making Himself accessible to you. In fact, He waits to be wanted.
“God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.” (Psalm 145:18 MSG)
This REAL God is not mad at you. He’s not keeping a list and checking it twice to see if you’ve been naughty or nice. He’s a loving Father that made all there is for you and then made you for Himself. You matter THAT MUCH to Him! He has gone to great lengths to get where you are and even greater lengths to bring you where He is…not just when you die but RIGHT NOW! He provides ALL YOU NEED to live the Overcoming Life THIS DAY!
This Faithful and Everlasting God says to YOU:
“When you come looking for Me, you’ll find Me.
“Yes, when you get serious about finding Me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” (Jeremiah 29:13 MSG)
I promise you on my very life, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
