When the most hectic time of year arrives, it’s always comforting to know the deliciousness of Simply Southern Cuisine in Clemmons may be the easiest call or click you make!
It’s only natural your go-to stop for comfort food in a pinch – busy school weeks or last-minute weekend guests! – should be your first and only choice during the holiday season.
Family owned and more-than-famous for homemade goodness in every dish, consistent quality, and the absolute freshest ingredients, owner Lisa Miller and her staff know good food, and their goal is to become a tasty part of your holiday traditions. Lisa has owned and managed the business since 2006, and as they celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2021, Simply Southern Cuisine has continued to grow and update, while staying true to those original, irresistible recipes. Their “family” of employees puts in extra hours over the holidays for sure, but always with generous amounts of love and laughter that will evoke memories of your own childhood celebrations.
“Our family-size favorites are a tradition, and nothing eases your holiday madness like having a delicious, homemade dinner picked up hot and ready to serve – or if you prefer, frozen and ready to cook on your own schedule,” says Lisa.
As always, there’s a deadline for pre-ordering holiday meals, and this year, any orders placed after Friday, November 18, cannot be guaranteed. (That means first-come, first-served after that!) One important addition at Simply Southern Cuisine this year deserves an enthusiastic mention: Their new walk-in freezer behind the kitchen is up and running! It was a much anticipated, drawn-out, two-year project, says Lisa, but having ample freezer space for holiday orders will definitely not be an issue! Also different, she has added a “dinner for three” option, based on customer requests, which falls in line with their 7” pan which is typically two or three servings.
Thanksgiving menu options are available either fresh or frozen, and no hot orders or online orders will be available from November 19 through November 25. Choose a complete meal for three, six, or 15 people, or order the individual sides and entrees that are your family’s favorites. For example, dinner for 15 includes a whole ham or two whole oven-roasted turkey breasts, along with side items and dessert served in 9” x 11” pans. Desserts for Thanksgiving week feasting this year will include apple pie, pecan pie, pumpkin crisp, and cherry yum yum, while side dishes include green bean casserole, sausage pecan stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and broccoli casserole, among many tempting others.
To make it even easier, you can order these Thanksgiving dinners right from their website, without having to make a phone call! If you’d like a free estimate on holiday catering for corporate lunches or private parties, please fill out a catering inquiry form on the website, and Lisa will do her best to send you an estimate within 24 hours.
