Open for three years as an American Saddlebred Horse Farm, Legacy Stables has taken on a new role as well, as a charming venue for parties and events of all sizes and styles. Their Bridal Expo promises a day of introductions to the finest wedding professionals in the area, and a glimpse of the amazing possibilities here at Legacy, from Cate’s Ballroom (a vision of beautiful wood and sparkling chandeliers, easily draped off if you need a smaller space) to the Salem Stallway (perfect for the ceremony, then flipped for the reception while guests enjoy cocktails in the courtyard) to Robin’s Arena (boasting a romantic gazebo setting and timeless pink rose bushes) to the lovely outdoor patio with stone fireplace just outside The Legacy House (perhaps the venue’s best-kept secret, perfect for seating 75 or 80 guests with a supremely romantic backdrop and easy access to the beautiful, functional, and perfectly decorated bride and groom suites inside The Legacy House. (Another hint: Legacy Stables and Events does require brides to have at least a “day of” coordinator, so keep that in mind as you meet prospective wedding planners!) The afternoon will also include a drawing for a cruise for one lucky engaged couple, and twenty-five lucky brides who meet with at least 10 vendors will be entered in a drawing for $25 and $50 Visa gift cards, as well as several $25 and $50 gift cards from local restaurants, boutiques, and spas.
