I think you will agree that not too many business owners would entrust a teenage girl with their checkbook and then send her to market to choose prom dresses for their boutique! And yet, that is exactly what Anitra Mitchell’s boss did when then high schooler Anitra was working in her prom/wedding shop. Although Anitra herself couldn’t have possibly known that she would grow up to be the retail dynamo that she is, I think that her employer sensed her talent at an early age and had faith in Anitra’s excellent sense of style!
Anitra and husband Brad, as well as a vivacious style team of eight at LoveWell Boutique, have brought fashion and style to the community in energetic and creative ways since their rebranding almost two years ago. Of course you can walk into the shop at 110 Oakwood and enjoy a warm welcome, an enthusiastic approach to style, and an amazing selection of clothing, but it’s the innovative ways that LoveWell has reached out to their customers that sets them apart!
App It and They Will Shop
If you haven’t already, take just a minute to visit the App Store and download the LoveWell Boutique shopping app. You’ll have access to the latest inventory and amazing sales, style tips and “lives” – lives are selling events with Anitra and team presenting in real time and you can also catch replays! With over 2,000 users already, the app is quickly becoming the primary way that loyal shoppers get their fix! Many local shoppers like to pick up their order in the store so they can take a peek at what’s happening in the boutique, but the app keeps them connected to the style team in between visits. Facing Forward
As an innovator at the forefront of how business is done, Anitra began “going live” on Facebook several years ago and now makes it a regular part of LoveWell’s offerings. “Going live at the Atlanta and Dallas markets allows us to create a bridge between the designer and the customer. It’s really cool for customers to interact directly with the designer of a piece that they love!” says Anitra.

Party Time

For Anitra, Brad, Serene, “Chaos Coordinator” April, Kelsey, and the rest of the LoveWell style team, building women up and encouraging them to truly love themselves well so that they can love others well, is more than a slogan.
