Forsyth Community: Take 5

When the Forsyth Magazines team thinks of Forsyth Community, two things immediately come to mind.  First – road trip!  This magazine, the fourth in our family of publications, was the result of a road trip taken in 2014.  During that trip, we spent time with other professionals around the country who published women, parenting, and family magazines.  The idea took shape, and now, here we are… unveiling the 5th edition of Forsyth Community!

The second thing that comes to mind is how amazing our community really is!  Forsyth Community is a celebration of living, working, playing, visiting, dining, and shopping in the Clemmons community!

Clemmons, a bedroom community of Forsyth County, NC, offers so much.  From the small-town, neighborly feel of the village to the convenience of being right next door to Winston-Salem, easy-to-hop-on-the-interstate and go to Greensboro, High Point, Raleigh, or Charlotte – Clemmons is a vibrant and flourishing community.

And Forsyth Community celebrates all of that and more!

The 2019 edition introduces readers to the Clemmons Mayor, John Wait, as well as other council members.  Content also includes fun things to do and the benefits of relocating to Clemmons.  The magazine also features great topics on budgeting, fitness, community, education, faith, and we even have editorial that’s been submitted by Spirit, one of the dogs of Forsyth Magazines’ Senior Writer, Carolyn Peterson!

We hope you’ll pick up a copy and share one with a friend!  We are confident that you’ll learn something new about Clemmons – whether you’re a long-time resident, a newcomer, or you’re just passing through! After all, Forsyth Community has become known for being a one-stop resource… a relocation guide, a visitor’s guide, and a community resource.

Forsyth Community is distributed via Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce Welcome Bags; Realtors; All 12 North Carolina Welcome Centers across the state; as well as in and around the Lewisville and Clemmons communities. In addition to this distribution, The Village Inn Event Center in Clemmons provides three-hole-punched copies for each guest room for their 66,000+ annual travelers to peruse.

We are grateful for the support and encouragement from readers and locally-owned businesses who have believed in Forsyth Community from the start! But we are especially thankful to Shannon Ford, Marketing and Communications Director of the Village of Clemmons, as well as Ditra Miller and Ginny Chase of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce.  This magazine takes a village (pun intended), and the support from these organizations have helped us build Forsyth Community magazine to be five-issues strong!  Thank you!
