What was first founded as a monument company is now the Triad’s leading source for stunning countertops. In 2002, Frederick Stephens Cooke, Jr. started today’s version of the company (Bloomday Granite & Marble) with a dedication to continuing his family’s tradition of excellence in the stone industry. The name is blended from his grandparent’s names, Fred Day Cooke and Nonnie Bloom Cooke, and their lifelong commitment to excellence in stone is passed on to Bloomday’s clients, both residential and commercial.
Known for exquisite countertops in granite, marble, quartz, and other natural stones, Bloomday’s experts can transform kitchens (including outdoor kitchens), bathrooms, and offices. With stone surfaces in your home or office you can have a custom look that matches your personal tastes but also fits your lifestyle.
What makes Bloomday Granite & Marble stand out is its team’s expertise at its craft, as well as its love and passionate support for the community. In keeping with that tradition, the company is again proud to sponsor the 30thannual Triad Home & Garden Show, to be held February 15-17, 2019, in the Education Building of the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds.
This popular family event is a favorite of current homeowners and owners-to-be, as it brings together a variety of industry leaders. Homeowners attending this event all share the same goal of either renovating their current home or preparing to build a new home.
The Triad Home & Garden Show takes a portion of its proceeds and donates them to Habitat for Humanity Forsyth and the Career Technical Education Partnership that provides exciting opportunities each year for students to build Habitat Homes.
“The money raised through the event is important and puts back into our community. We believe you are what your community is, and there is never not a time to donate.” says Bloomday’s Miranda Kempton.
Bloomday Granite is thrilled to play a part in providing one central location for homeowners to collect information from top of the line vendors. This makes it much easier to navigate and match up with a vendor that suits your family’s lifestyle.
“The Triad Home & Garden show allows us to not only sponsor for a good cause, but to also get our own name out there as a company to use for projects.” says Kempton. “Remodeling or building can be stressful, but with the top builders in one location, they have a chance to weigh options to see who fits best.”
Hours for the February Triad Home & Garden Show are Friday, February 15 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, February 16 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday, February 17 from noon – 4 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 at the door, with children 12 and under free with a paying adult.
