Rocky Thompson grew up in Wisconsin, lived in New York for about 20 years, and is now settling into life at Lake Norman. He has taught English in France, ski bummed in Utah, and once spent a summer working at a cheese shop. In New York he worked for Newell Brands, The New York Times, and Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic. And during three years in Chicago he worked for the creative agency Simple Truth. As a brand consultant he’s served a variety of industries from real estate to healthcare to finance to the outdoors. His copywriting helps brands connect with their consumers and clients in meaningful ways. He is a dad to two young boys, and any given day you can find him and his wife Kasey chasing them around the yard or swimming in the lake. He is an avid tennis player and cyclist and always up for trying out the local beer.
