Women on the Move; June 2025

Natalie Broyhill is the founder and owner of Tartan Professional Organizing and is celebrating four fantastic years of business in 2025. Prior to starting Tartan, she earned a bachelor of arts in English and art history at Meredith College and worked at the North Carolina Museum of Art and Reynolda House. What started as a modest team of two and a handful of projects per month has grown into a thriving small business with a fiercely loyal client base, expanding service offerings for individuals and businesses, and a growing team of organizers. “I love the ripple effect of our work; we give our clients back time, space and mental clarity — and it gives them the freedom to focus on themselves, their families and our community.” A special example of this for Natalie is her continued relationship with LEAD Girls of NC – Tartan’s first client. “I knew and trusted Joy to be honest and kind with me on my first project, and she has been a sounding board, cheerleader and a loyal client since day one. Organizing for LEAD just gives them back that much more time to serve the leaders of tomorrow in our community.” Natalie currently serves on the Forsyth Humane Society board. When she isn’t in “Tartan mode,” she enjoys traveling to cold places, reading, power washing and being in the mountains with her husband, Penn.

In her spare time, Emmy loves spending time with her husband and eight-year-old son, enjoys creative projects, loves being involved with her church and enjoys camping!
