Happy April!

Our team is thrilled to bring you the April 2024 issue of Forsyth Woman! Our mission is to connect our community, and we achieve this by helping small businesses share their stories – we believe everyone has a story worth sharing.

This issue is packed with content you won’t want to miss! From inspiring stories of local women to delicious recipes, movie recommendations and even an article on the history of Krispy Kreme, there’s something for everyone. As I write this, we’re just a few days away from our 3rd Annual Women on the Move Conference. The energy and inspiration at this event is indescribable. The Junior League of Winston-Salem presents the Tour of Fine Spaces.
Forsyth Woman‘s monthly Girls’ Night Out event is on April 9th at Jeffrey Adams on Fourth.
Second Harvest Food Bank’s Empty Bowls event is on April 24th.
LKN Magazine‘s Boutique Crawl is on April 27th, revamped and better than ever.
Trellis Supportive Care’s annual Derby Party is on Saturday, May 4th.

Brooke Eagle

Brooke Eagle is the publisher of Forsyth Woman and Forsyth Family Magazines and the host of the Forsyth Magazines Podcast. She was born and raised in Clemmons, NC and currently resides in Winston-Salem, NC. Though Brooke graduated from High Point University with a degree in Elementary Education, she chose to join the magazines full time immediately after college. Her strong work ethic, love for community and leadership skills have been recognized by others as well! Brooke is the Immediate Past President of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Professional Women of Winston-Salem (now Triad Women’s Club) and served on the Trellis Support Leadership Council (previously Hospice of Winston-Salem). In addition to her role with the magazines, Brooke is the co-owner of Washington Park CrossFit. Her role with the magazines and the gym aligns perfectly with her personal mission of having a positive impact on the growth and development of her local community. In her spare time, Brooke loves spending time with her family and friends, especially when that time is spent on the water! She loves wake surfing, snowboarding, CrossFit, and being a dog mom to her Bernedoodle and German Shepherd.
