Happy March!
Not only is this month the start of SPRING, but it’s also Women’s History Month—and the month of our 4th annual Women on the Move conference! (It’s no accident that we host this event in March!)
At Forsyth Woman, our mission has always been to celebrate, empower, and uplift women. We believe in the power of community and connection, and we love bringing this to life—both in our magazine and through our events.
Three Reasons You Can’t Miss our 2025 Women on the Move Conference:
- LOCAL speakers. We’ve all attended events with big-name national keynote speakers—amazing, yes, but sometimes unrelatable. Our goal for Women on the Move is to feature local female speakers—women who are truly part of our community. You might even run into them at the grocery store! How cool is that?!
- Opportunities to connect. Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, one thing is true—we all need community. This event is a fantastic way to meet like-minded women who share a growth mindset and support each other.
- FOMO is real! Do you really want to miss out? Of course not! You might regret it when you see all the excitement on social media on March 20th.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your ticket before they’re gone! Visit tinyurl.com/FWWOMC25.
Celebrate Women This Month:
- Support Women-Owned Businesses. Shop local and invest in businesses run by women in our community.
- Lift Up the Women Around You. A simple word of encouragement, mentorship, or support can make all the difference.
- Take a Moment for Yourself. Celebrating women includes celebrating you! Prioritize self-care and acknowledge your own achievements.
March Girls’ Night Out
Our March Girls’ Night Out event is happening on Tuesday, March 11th, at Jeffrey Adams! As always, we’ll have tons of door prizes, and Jeffrey Adams is treating us to amazing drink and appetizer specials. I hope to see you there!
One of my favorite parts of this issue is celebrating the incredible women in our community—including talented local entrepreneurs like my engagement photographer, Megan Smith! She captured such special moments for Gavin and me, along with our two dogs, Buddy and Murphy, who are such a big part of our little family. As I prepare for my May wedding, I’m reminded how important it is to support and uplift the women around us—whether through business, friendship, or simply cheering each other on.
Wishing you a fabulous month of March!
All my best,
Brooke
