In business for over 18 years, ProStone Granite & Cabinetry is skilled at taking your project from start to finish with ease, efficiency, and impeccable style!
From on-the-spot pricing right in their showroom to a thoughtfully managed timeline, ultra-professional communication, and dedication to a customer’s complete happiness with the end result, the grateful words of current and returning customers speak for themselves!
“I had my kitchen countertops replaced and absolutely love them! Dave was great to work with, and was very helpful through the entire process. The install guys were also very skilled and meticulous. I would highly recommend ProStone Granite!”— Ashley L.
“We did a remodel of our kitchen, and ProStone had the best price, offered exceptional service, and the install crew paid attention to every detail. We are extremely satisfied with not only the product, but the service and communication they provided along the way.” — Michael P.
The ProStone team is full-service all the way, with no sub-contractors involved. Based on the type of stone you’re shopping for, they can typically give you a price while you’re in the showroom. “Most folks like that we can give them a price on the spot!” says Manager Ross Edwards. “We also sell our clients only the materials they actually need, not the entire slab, and we regularly maintain a stock of around 40 different stones, so no matter your style, there are ample options.”
STILL THE HEART OF THE HOME!
No surprise, the ProStone experts tell us an updated kitchen still sells your home! It’s the one area most people spend a lot of time in, and it’s definitely where families create the most memories. If you’re entertaining, arriving guests will typically go straight to the kitchen area for a drink or appetizers — and it’s the top spot where a really good conversation is likely to start!
“We are seeing a huge demand for updates to kitchens in existing homes,” says Ross. “People are spending more time than ever there, and along with the primary bathroom, kitchens are still important if you’re selling a home. So, if you can make that investment, you’ll increase the value of your home with an updated kitchen. In today’s market, it seems folks are looking for move-in ready homes.”
ProStone Granite & Cabinetry includes around 20 dedicated employees, including two in-house installation teams, and their longevity means you can be assured of quality work.
“We all work closely together on a day-to-day basis, and are very much a family-based company,” says Ross. “That’s why most of our team members have been with us for a while! Most of our installers have worked with us for five-plus years.”
QUARTZ STILL RULES
“Quartz countertops have risen in popularity in recent years due to their durability and ability to take on the look of real stone and other materials,” explains Ross. “But styles featuring bold, dramatic sweeps of veining seem to be expanding.” He adds that ProStone sells about 65% quartz, as compared to the other materials they offer. “It has been the most popular kitchen countertop material for several years — and we expect that trend to continue!”
Ross tells us the the trend towards quartzite was also around this past year, and it’s expected to continue in 2023 and 2024 as well. “While the name of this stone is similar to quartz, they are entirely different materials,” he explains. “Quartz is a man-made countertop, while quartzite is a natural stone material. Quartzite kitchen countertops are desirable for their durability and beauty.”
While they do require sealing, they are more stain and scratch resistant than many other natural stone countertops, and quartzite comes in a wide range of colors, with a glittering texture that sparkles in the light. And, while granite lags behind quartz and quartzite in popularity, it still remains a tried-and-true stone countertop option. Although it also requires sealing, it’s a highly durable and low-maintenance stone, making it ideal for busy families. With granite, you’ll have peace of mind that your countertop is resistant to stains, scratches, chips, and heat.
While jumping into a remodel project can feel overwhelming, a timetable with ProStone can be stress-free, always backed with their professional support. For a countertop remodel, the team will come to your home and create a template of the available space. Approximately two weeks later, they can typically complete the installation. If you’re new to the game and still trying to visualize your dream look, consider starting with a visit to the ProStone showroom, bringing along a rough drawing of your available counter space. From that point on, you’re in the most capable hands!
“ProStone did a great job on our bathroom countertop! David was very helpful during the selection process. He never rushed us and answered every question. The people who measured and installed for us were also very professional, and we are so happy with the results! I would recommend them, and will use them again when we remodel our kitchen.”— Lynda S.
“After getting two estimates for quartz countertops as part of a kitchen remodel project, a friend recommended ProStone as a third option. I am happy I made the contact! The ProStone team was friendly, professional, and efficient. From the initial phone call to project completion, the process took only 18 days. That includes measurements, quartz selection, and installation. The quality of the work is A+. I highly recommend David and the ProStone team.”— Len J.
