Stay-at-home moms sometimes want just a little more – more connection, more creativity, more purpose. Fizz & Beats™ is our more! This isn’t just another festival; this exclusive lawn party is making an impact on the community. Favored Conferences and Events is built on the energy and tenacity of moms, and we look forward to hosting you this year. 

As moms, we host people in our homes and make them feel welcome, but this is different. We are using our skills and bringing back, for the third time, an exclusive lawn party where you’re invited to sit back and enjoy the food, music and mocktails. We want you to kick back and sip a drink that gives you all the good feels! 

Three years ago, a small group of ladies had a big idea. We wanted to create something different for our community, a festival not like any other. 

Fizz & Beats™ 2025 is returning in style on Saturday, September 20th from noon to 5:00 p.m., taking over Kernersville’s Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. What started as a dream is now a signature event – carefully planned and lovingly organized by our hands and hearts, with a focus on safe, alcohol-free fun for everyone. 

Every detail is a labor of love, from booking the main stage acts to selecting the best family friendly activities to keep everyone smiling. This year, we’re especially excited to welcome the high energy sounds of Rags and Riches, along with fan favorite Jimmy Mowery as seen on The Voice and the unique talents of Sam Swanson, Mason Via and Lucy Kirby. But, we don’t stop at music – this festival is about surprises and delight, so national comedian Jonnie W. will be bringing the laughs, and celebrity magician TJ Hill will dazzle and amaze, both on stage and mingling with guests. 

One thing that makes Fizz & Beats™ truly unique is our focus on zero-proof fun. Our Mocktail Showdown is the highlight – four inventive local vendors whip up their best alcohol-free creations, letting festival guests and a celebrity panel choose the top sipper of the season. We wanted a space where everyone, young and old, could share in the festivities without missing out on the flavor – and it’s become a signature of what we do. This year’s contenders are Cordial Cowboy, Chef Gunny, DarnGood Lemonade and The Sippy Chick. 

Of course, every great party needs great food, so we’ve gathered six incredible food trucks, serving everything from Cuban comfort food and sushi to delicious ice cream. If you need a pick-me-up, Kyle’s Coffee will keep you fueled for dancing and play. Joining us is Sushi Empire, Anytime Sweets-Grill, JJ’s Cuban Kitchen, Vice Cream, La Moñona and The Hummingbird Truck. 

Around every corner, there’s something to discover: face painting, caricatures, an art exhibit curated by our friends at Inspire Creative and booths full of handmade crafts and artisan treasures. We wanted this to be a place where everyone could explore, laugh and create new memories together.

For those wanting a little extra, our VIP experience gives early access, exclusive perks and an invitation to a private, intimate comedy show with Jonnie W. once the sun sets. 

But, at the core of it all – what matters most to us – is giving back. Every ticket supports scholarships and vital recovery services through Greater Piedmont Adult & Teen Challenge. You’ll see men from that program volunteering at the festival, sharing their stories and spreading gratitude. It’s our way of multiplying the joy and support our community gives back to those who need it most. 

As a team mostly made up of moms, we’re so proud to be pouring our hearts into this event for a third year in a row. We want this to be a safe space where all can celebrate, connect and know they’re making a difference just by being here. 

So, grab your tickets – advance admission is just $12 (save 20%), kids 14 and under are free and a limited number of VIP passes are available for $35. Every ticket is a chance to experience live music, access delicious eats, sip creative mocktails with a sample card, a chance to vote, art and laughter – with a mission at the heart.
