It’s Thanksgiving day and there’s happiness in our heart’s
And it’s a time for families to all come together
And share this very special day with homes filled
With smells so grand the best aromas in our
Land and the roasted turkey brown and bright and
Thanksgiving day is more than just the food
And beers as fireworks sparkle in the night sky
And a time for families to all meet and
Gather round for a happy treat
And we’ll stop and pray for our loved ones on
This very special Thanksgiving day and
There forever in our hearts every
Day and we’ll think about them today
And as we eat we share stories
And our grateful hearts begin to glow and
For all the blessings big and small
We offer thanks embracing all so on this
Thanksgiving day remember to help
One another and our bond has grown
A sturdy vine a love like ours is truly divine
And a lifetime pledged a promise made
A love that will never fade and
So let us all gather round hand in hand
In our beloved and thankful land America
And we’ll raise our voices loud and clear
And so strong and we’ll sing and dance and be joyful
On Thanksgiving day and for all the blessings
We receive big and small and we’ll thank
Our Lord Jesus Christ who gave us all
And we’ll celebrate this special day
Thanksgiving in a happy way so god bless
