Halloween Bingo: A Spooktacular Event – Presented by the Junior League of Winston-Salem

As autumn leaves begin to fall and the crisp air heralds the arrival of Halloween, the Junior League of Winston-Salem (JLWS) is excited to invite the community to a festive and fun-filled Halloween Bingo event. This unique event is designed to bring people together for an evening of entertainment, community spirit and charitable support. It is also the newest fundraiser for the JLWS.

Halloween Bingo will take place on Thursday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Hawthorne Inn. The event promises a bewitching blend of spooky fun and engaging activities, making it an ideal outing for families, friends and Halloween enthusiasts of all ages.

What to Expect

Supporting a Worthy Cause

This Halloween Bingo event is more than just a night of games and festivities. It’s also an opportunity to support the Junior League of Winston-Salem’s longstanding mission since 1923: to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. The focus of the Junior League’s community projects is educating and mentoring youth from birth to age 18 and women’s health issues.

Proceeds from the event will go towards their signature projects: BookWORM, Strong Women. Strong Families and Kids in the Kitchen. It will also support other community programs that the JLWS is a part of such as Forsyth Backpack Program at Cook Literacy Model School and Crosby Scholars. These projects are organized by Junior League volunteers, bringing the league’s mission to life by sharing valuable training opportunities with its members. The skills learned in the league equip local leaders to enact change across our community.

Erin Greene, the chair of Halloween Bingo shared, “This is our first year hosting this event, and we are looking forward to making it a Halloween tradition for our community. There’s nothing better than Bingo, barbecue and boos!”

Tickets for Halloween Bingo are available for purchase on their website at jlws.org/halloween-bingo. Ticket prices start at $15 with options for Bingo cards only or a package with Bingo, drinks and dinner. VIP tickets are also available.
