The holidays are great times to try out new cocktails! However, unless you’re a bartender or know a lot about mixology, you might be stuck on what to try and how to make it. One place I’ve had great success in finding new cocktail ideas is on Instagram. Seriously, there is no shortage of ideas there!
Below are a few of my favorites. I hope they are ones that make it into your holiday parties or cocktail hours and you enjoy them, too! Plus, another great idea is adding a favorite liquor to any holiday punch or your hot chocolate (try it with peppermint schnapps).
Grinch Mimosas
This one is so fun and, as it’s a mimosa, is great for your Christmas brunch!
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Prosecco
- ½ ounce of Blue Curacao
- ⅔ ounce of pineapple juice or orange juice (Pro Tip: Orange juice actually gives better green color.)
- Cranberries for garnish
Directions:
- Put in the Blue Curacao and juice first for the green color. You might need to adjust amounts to get the color right.
- Add in Prosecco
- Garnish & serve

- 2 ounces cranberry juice
