Complete Rehab is thrilled to welcome Tayler Saxton, OTR/L. Tayler is a graduate from Winston-Salem State University where he received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Complete Rehab is delighted to welcome him to our team!
Before beginning his journey to becoming an occupational therapist, Tayler received his Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and also studied kinesiology at Campbell University. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he had the pleasure of working as an exercise physiologist specializing in orthopedics and amputations in Fayetteville, NC. As an exercise physiologist, he also worked with patients through the Wounded Warrior Project, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in occupational therapy due to the individualized, and personal care the profession allows therapists to provide to their patients. Tayler says, “I love getting to know each and every one of my patients and strive to provide the best care possible. In my free time, I love exercising and woodworking. I have a personal goal to one day become the next American Ninja Warrior!”
Emily Norman is a Lewisville native and another member new to the Complete Rehab team. She serves as a rehab technician! “I interned with Complete Rehab while I was in school at Guilford College,” shared Emily. “I loved the experience I had during my internship and I was thrilled to be able to officially join the team after graduation!” Emily earned a bachelor’s in exercise sport science and her role at Complete Rehab is to make sure things run smoothly and efficiently. She ensures that supplies are where they are needed and the overall experience of the patients goes smoothly. “I love being with people,” said Emily. “This clinic is the ideal setting for relationship building, and forming quality relationships that make each person unique.” In her spare time, Emily enjoys anything that takes her outdoors; she loves the mountains and dreams of one day living at the beach.
At Complete Rehab, Brett Duffey is an occupational therapist who specializes in the treatment of neuropathy and pain. He has treated over 2600 patients with neuropathy in the last 12 years. He has achieved a VERY high success rate in dramatically relieving or completely eliminating the aforementioned symptoms. Because he specializes in neuropathy, he understands neuropathy, the different types, and how the 3-part neurological chain works. He stays current with all the latest medical breakthroughs and findings. Unless your doctor specializes SPECIFICALLY in neuropathy, Brett is aware of some things they likely have not even heard of yet.
Therefore, if you are having any abnormal symptoms in your arms, hands, legs, feet, or anywhere else on your body, you likely have some form of neuropathy…EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN DIAGNOSED BY YOUR DOCTOR! If you have seen multiple doctors and feel like it has been a waste of time, you truly need to see Brett. His experience is unmatched, and his track record is PHENOMENAL!
There are very few insurance companies that even require a referral from your doctor to see Brett. He accepts Medicare and is in nearly every other major provider network. A doctor’s referral is no longer required (in most cases—including Medicare) to see a specialist for your pain or discomfort from neuropathy, all insurances will pay for some or all of these treatments. Have you tried medicine after medicine, seen multiple doctors or tried many different things with no relief of your symptoms? Ever had a doctor or loved one tell you, “There’s nothing more you can do about it – you’re just going to have to learn to live with it”? Well, times and medical advancements have changed with NEUROPATHY.
If you suffer from ANY kind of NEUROPATHY, or are just plain tired of living with discomfort, pain, burning or numbness and are ready to get your life back, then you need to call Brett at Complete Rehab. Pain, burning, tingling, numbness, stabbing, jolting, or throbbing sensations, weakness, or general discomfort are all common symptoms he treats regularly.
Brett’s Specialty: NEUROPATHY
Something as simple as irritating sensations in your arms, legs, feet or hands can all be indicators of some form of neuropathy—even if you have not been “officially” diagnosed with it. Brett Duffey is an occupational therapist who specializes in pain control and all types of neuropathy. He has treated over 2600 patients in the last 12 years and has had a very high success rate in dramatically relieving or completely eliminating the aforementioned symptoms. He understands that no two cases of neuropathy are the same, or necessarily respond to the same medication, and will commonly require two similar but different treatment programs.
Brett will take the time to develop a specific INDIVIDUALIZED treatment plan for you. Brett believes in small, patient-focused care and because of that, he’s not a part of a hospital system. The majority of his referrals are from other independent physicians, such as private-practice neurologists, not to mention current and former patient referrals. He receives calls weekly from people who have tried “everything” without results, but have heard their friends’ and families’ success stories with Brett. After treatment with him, many feel the best they have in years and wish they had seen Brett sooner!
