After a year full of surprises, it is so nice that there are some things in life we can count on. Living in and visiting an area like Clemmons fills us with feelings of home and shows us how much excitement lives right around the corner, even in what may seem like a sleepy town. There are so many wonderful aspects and hidden gems located in Forsyth County, and Forsyth Magazines is so excited and proud to have the seventh issue of Forsyth Community just around the corner.

Forsyth Community focuses on the Clemmons area, a bedroom community located with Forsyth County. It is the official relocation and tourism guide for the Lewisville-Clemmons area and is produced through a partnership with the Village of Clemmons and the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce.

Clemmons’ convenient location makes travel to neighboring cities a breeze. Because this magazine is such a popular resource, we are proud to say that it is distributed in all of the NC welcome centers across the state, as well as in Harris Teeter and Food Lion stores in and around Forsyth County, local real estate agent offices, the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce Welcome Bags, in every guest room at the Village Inn as well as numerous rack locations in Lewisville, Clemmons and the surrounding areas.

If you have never picked up an issue of Forsyth Community, make sure you do this time around. In addition to all that is covered in each issue, the seventh issue will feature four new sections: Wine Directory, Boutique Directory, Dining Directory and Golf Directory. There is no better resource for local business information including restaurants, shops, health services and local relocation experts.

Shopping local has never been more important. These sweet, small shops are the backbone of the community and are what keeps areas like ours charming. Boutiques like Penny Lane, Fraleigh’s and Hip Chics, and delectable dining options such as Mossy’s or the new Be Kind Coffee Co. put Clemmons on the map. Clemmons really shines during festive times of the year with events such as the Clemmons Wonderland during the holidays and the Lip Sync Battle which celebrated its inaugural event last year. This issue features photos from last year and provides information on next year’s event.

Those looking to stay active in the Clemmons area will enjoy the golf guide which features courses such as Salem Glen Golf and Country Club, Bermuda Run Country Club and Oak Valley Golf Club to name a few. But, if you are more the sip wine while looking at beautiful scenery person, the wine guide is just for you! Some of the vineyards featured in this issue include Elkin Creek Vineyard, Brandon Hills Vineyard and Hanover Park Vineyard.

Not able to go out on the town? No problem! You can whip up your own mouthwatering cuisine using our recipe section. The next issue includes Ginger-Miso Baked Salmon, Crispy Garlic and Thyme Stacked Potatoes and Mint, Grapefruit and Rosemary Soda/Spritzer, among others.

Another fantastic feature of living in and visiting a small town with all that Clemmons has to offer is the welcoming and helpful local government. The people that run this town live and work here, not in Washington, DC. They are available and approachable when issues arise and are eager to make things right for all involved. In this issue, you can get to know the members of the local government a little better with the feature which asks them their word of the year as well as a “this” or “that” quiz!

There is also a full directory of Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce members. This is the ultimate shop local guide! If you are looking to grow your business this year, the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce is the best place to start.

When not looking to explore the town or improve your business, why not take care of the chores that help the beautiful landscape? With the recycling guide available in the upcoming issue, you’ll know all the dos and don’ts that will help make recycling streamlined and beneficial.
