Our Journey
From humble beginnings (our very first issue was a 24-page partially black and white magazine), Forsyth Woman magazine has grown into a trusted platform for women in our community. We’ve expanded our reach through various channels:
- Print Magazines: Our cornerstone, offering in-depth stories, tips, and local features that matter to our readers.
- Forsyth Mags Podcast: Bringing the voices of our community directly to you, discussing everything from business success stories to personal growth on our podcast that launched in 2020. New episodes release every Thursday, and you can tune in on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and now YouTube!
- Social Media: Keeping you connected and informed with the latest updates, stories, and community news as well as fun event recaps and giveaways! Join in on the fun @forsythmags on Instagram and Facebook.
- Events: Creating opportunities for women to connect and celebrate, such as:
- Monthly Girls’ Night Out events—held at local venues and restaurants in and around Winston-Salem.
- Annual Boutique Crawl (formerly Tour de Boutique)—encourages our community to shop local and instills the importance of it!
- Women on the Move Conference—our BIGGEST event, where nearly 300 women gather each March to meet one another and feel empowered and inspired!
