One way to capture that fun and carefreeness is by visiting wineries and mapping together a local winery tour. Luckily, Forsyth County is situated in the ideal spot on the Yadkin River that places us within an easy drive to so many amazing wineries.

Childress Vineyards

This is a staple winery in the area and a must-visit one. Their sun-kissed fruit wines and wine slushies are refreshing treats on a hot, summer day. They offer tastings, tours and a bistro.

Divine Llama Vineyards

What’s better than sipping on wine and enjoying an amazing view? Adding in some llamas! They often have food trucks on the weekends.

Dynamis Estate Wines

Located conveniently right off I-77, this winery provides stunning views and luxurious wines. Reservations are required at this winery, and you have the option to book a tasting or private seating area.

The wines here taste every bit award winning. Plus, the restaurant on site has absolutely scrumptious food. The views are also unforgettable. It’s the perfect spot for an adult summer day trip!

There’s a new kid on the winery block! You might recognize this location if you ever visited Raylen, but it’s been completely revamped to offer some great new wines and food.
