Our agenda will include a keynote motivational speaker\, Dr. Darlene Sparks Washington from the Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless and workshops on Growing through Difficult Conversations (Joy Nelson Thomas); Life: Where Do We Grow from Here Jocelyn Foy; Nurturing Healthy Relationships (Lady Brittany Leak; and Education: It Takes a Village to Grow (Trevonia Brown-Gaither). Dr. Washington will speak about her journey as she overcame struggle after the death of her father\, mother\, husband\, and homelessness.
