According to owner Jeff Holmes, his and his wife’s love for massage therapy has led them to many exciting opportunities in the industry, including owning and operating two Massage Envy franchised locations in Winston-Salem. Recently, the Holmeses relocated and expanded their first location to offer more space and services for clients.
“Amy and I opened the first location on Hanes Mall Boulevard in 2008 and the second one on Robinhood Road in 2013. As we approach our 10-year anniversary, we chose to relocate the Hanes Mall Boulevard clinic to Creekshire Way (right off Hanes Mall Boulevard) for several reasons, such as outgrowing the old 2,700 square foot space,” commented Jeff Holmes.
The new Massage Envy franchised location is 4,400 square feet (60% larger than the old location) and has 15 therapy rooms, which include a couple’s room and six rooms for skin care services. There is also a waiting room for clients to enjoy. Clients can choose between a range of services that include massages, Total Body Stretch using the proprietary Streto Method, facials, chemical peels, microderm infusion, and retail. Holmes stated that they anticipate offering facial waxing services soon. In fact, the Massage Envy brand is the #1 skin care provider in the United States.
“In the new clinic, we were able to add more treatment rooms, more rooms where we can provide skin care services, and a more spacious and comfortable lobby and waiting room,” said Jeff. “We also had the opportunity to upgrade to the fantastic new, clean, modern Massage Envy look and feel.”
Even though the Massage Envy franchised location has gone through a renovation, clients can rest assured knowing that they will still receive the same quality treatment as before.
“All of our massage therapists and estheticians have gone through extensive schooling and licensing exams. They are all licensed by the State of North Carolina. Also, Massage Envy provides regular continuing education, including ethics courses and courses regarding client safety,” said Jeff.
All ages of clients are welcome. Jeff noted that massages are available to clients from eight years or older and facials are available to clients from twelve years or older.
“We see new guests and members from all over Forsyth and the surrounding counties. There are clients with injuries, stress, sports recovery, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer patients, pregnancy, post-natal, and many other needs,” commented Jeff.
