Lewisville Vintage The Place for Vintage, Collectibles, Antiques and More

The Shoppes of Lewisville Vintage have been part of the Lewisville landscape since 2015 and are nearing their four-year anniversary.  Jim Coffey and Chris Blocker, the Shoppes’ owners, have built a dedicated team of associates who enjoy working with their 50 plus dealers and their customers.  Wendy, Allie, Jackie, Carol, Barbara, and Loretta work together in the three shops that make up The Shoppes of Lewisville Vintage.  “We all work together and may be in any of the stores,” explained Wendy. “If a customer has a specific item in mind, we may walk them to one of the other shops to help them locate it. We work closely and know the inventory of each shop.”  As Wendy explained, each shop has its own unique focus: Lewisville Vintage has vintage, nostalgic items that change frequently (from clothing, housewares, accessories, books, handcrafted items, and more); The Gallery focuses on upscale antique furniture and art consignments; and The Market targets rustic-styled, farm-inspired artifacts and farmhouse vintage.

Booths are rented to dealers who showcase their merchandise based upon the shop guidelines.  In some cases, associates may assist with presentations and displays.  As with most consignments shops, merchandise turnover is frequent.  If you see something you like, it’s best to buy it; it is likely a one-of-a-kind item.  What can you find?  Vintage tools, glassware, dishes, cookware, hand-beaded evening bags, vintage clothing, artwork, furniture, hard-to-find book editions, and so much more.  Give yourself time to browse the booths and aisle ways in comfort.  The shops are well designed to accommodate the displays and for customer comfort.

What about upcoming or annual events?

The Annual Chicken Stew has become a tradition at The Shoppes of Lewisville Vintage.  In addition to their regular merchandise, look for shop specials, let the kids enjoy face painting, local musicians, and of course, the chicken stew.  What goes with the stew?  That southern dessert staple – banana pudding.  Try the collard green dip as well while you enjoy the live music. Plus, it’s a free event to celebrate the community at large.

Pop-Up Flea Market Under the Oaks is a warm weather event that usually runs from spring to fall on the second Saturday of each month.  Additional dealers will participate and showcase their products outside, weather permitting.

Christmas is a special time at The Shoppes of Lewisville Vintage.  Jim, Chris, and the team go all out in decorating the shops.  You’ll see traditional Christmas trees, vintage-inspired trees, trees filled with collectible ornaments, and one special tree with free ornaments for children to select as a gift.  Look for shop specials as well.  Be sure to stop by to find your Christmas spirit or share it with your neighbors!
