Wee Care! Art Contest: Kid’s Clubhouse, 745 Cinema Court, Suites G & H in Kernersville. Children in preschool and elementary school are encouraged to submit art to the contest. There are four categories, and a grand prize package will be given to the best of show! The best of show will also be on the Wee Care! poster, promoting the children’s cereal drive. There is no submission fee, but the contest is “breakfast” themed, and children in 3rd-5th grade are asked to draw or create a cereal box.

EXHIBIT: Gazing at the Contemporary World: Japanese Photography (1970s-present): Daily, Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University. In its American premier, this exhibit examines transformations in contemporary Japanese society and landscapes over recent decades by providing an overview of the diverse photographic expression that emerged during that time period.
