Holiday Wrap-Up

So “Ho Ho’s Big Day” has come and gone. My house was nice and relaxed for Christmas Day. We spent it at home for the second time. We usually go to Tennessee, but due to Nana getting older, we have started a new tradition of having it our house. My husband’s parents and sister attend the Christmas festivities.
The morning started with Abby. She came down and checked out her gifts from Santa. She made sure the hay for the reindeer was gone and that Santa ate his cookies and juice. She was excited to get a sled, ice skates, a Wii game and a camera. Abby kept us at a slow pace with her picture taking of each present opened. I must admit it was nice to go so slow and enjoy the unwrapping of the presents. We had time to talk and reflect and enjoy each other’s company, which is what Christmas is all about. Being together with the ones you love.

Oh and let’s not forget the snow!! How beautiful, a White Christmas. We all had fun gazing out the window and playing in the snow! A holiday to truly remember!
So how did you spend your Christmas Day? Was it wild and crazy or calm and mild? However you spent it, I hope it was filled with love, joy and happiness.
