For bartender Dana Watson, New Town Bistro is more than a job – it’s a family and a community of customers she feels a strong connection to. Dana Watson has worked as a bartender for New Town Bistro for over sixteen years and as she explains, “I wake up every day excited to go to my job. I feel so blessed to work with the staff and customers that visit New Town Bistro.”

New Town Bistro’s motto, “A fun place to meet and make new friends,” is truly something the entire staff lives by. As owner Kyle Agha notes, “All of our staff work hard to communicate with guests, help them feel comfortable, just like they are dining in their own home. Our bartenders, Jeff Pemberton, Nicole Crews, and Dana Watson, as well as the rest of the NTB staff, always go the extra mile to learn the customers’ names, remember their favorites, and help them feel like a part of the New Town Bistro family.”

Dana, for example, is the type of bartender who knows what her customers like and often has their drink  made before they can order it. She also listens to customers’ likes and dislikes. She remembers customer feedback when  selecting wine and other beverages for By Emily Eileen Carter the bar, and, like the rest of the staff, communicates
customer favorites with the New Town Bistro kitchen staff. This feedback is used when the chefs are creating new menus. As Dana explains, “There is a lot of process and  thought that goes into creating new drink and food menus here. We really think about what our customers would enjoy and how we can pique their interest in new things.”
