5 Points

We are fortunate to live in an area that offers the finest aspects of big city living while still maintaining the feel of small Southern charm. We can be transported back in time visiting Old Salem or Historic Bethabara Park, enjoy fabulous entertainment at any of several venues, and be treated to excellent shopping. While out and about in Winston-Salem, whether you are a resident or visitor, take time to relax and eat at the newest venture of Gallins Foods – 5 Points Restaurant.

Located near the infamous intersection it is named for, 5 Points offers a menu that is sure to please everyone with quality as precedence. “I would define our menu as an American menu with fresh fish, fresh steaks, very eclectic salads and homemade desserts which are made in-house every day,” said Kevin Anderson, General Manager. Open every day for lunch and dinner with brunch on the weekends, 5 Points offers a variety of fare. There are numerous lunch appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads and entrees. The evening menu includes small plates along with appetizers, chicken, fish and pasta dishes, and numerous selections from the hickory grill. With fresh seafood coming from the North Carolina coast daily – the only exceptions being the Canadian salmon and the Maine lobster – the chef creates inspiring dishes highlighting the catch of the day. Vegetarians will find selections specially created to be vegetarian and not just a dish with the protein removed. 5 Points has an impressive and extensive wine list that is sold by the glass and the bottle with a reserve wine list for the connoisseur. 5 Points also offers wine pairings to enrich your dining experience. There are numerous beers on tap, including several local microbrews. Weekend brunch has some items you have come to expect, but a few twists on old favorites can also be found.
