It can be hard to describe a store classified as a gift shop. Many carry the same generic gifts you see everywhere, but sometimes, you run across one that stands apart, with items specifically selected to wow buyers. Accessorize This in Lewisville is one of those shops!

“Accessorize This is definitely worth the visit,” said Owner Gina Player. “We are truly a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. We have it all, a wonderful selection of affordable accessories and gifts and great customer service!”

Gina stands behind her selection because she handpicks each and every item she sells during her many trips to the gift and accessories shows in Atlanta, regional shows, and visits with industry sales representatives. “By any true shopper’s standard, the show in Atlanta is paradise,” said Player. “It consists of three 20-story buildings filled with one  showroom after the other. You could literally spend a week there and still not see everything. I generally spend about four days. I have learned to spend the first day or so looking and then making decisions during the last couple of days. Trends become apparent once you   have visited enough showrooms. Keeping on top of the trends is always  a challenge, but it’s also lots of fun. Currently in fashion, the trends are revolving around Victorian styles. Scarves have more lace and jewelry reflects antique gold tones. Owls, peacocks, bird cages, vintage style cameras, hand mirrors and watches are just some of the motifs used in jewelry that we currently offer. I look forward to my trip to Atlanta in January to see what’s new for 2012!”
