This past April Dr. Tina Merhoff and a staff of 20 celebrated ten years of serving young patients in the Piedmont-Triad community. What started out as a meeting around Dr. Tina's dinning room table over a decade ago is not a dream come true - ten years in the making.

“Dr. Tina” (as her patienst and staff call her) felt she needed more than just gumption to start a pediatric dentistry practice. She said she needed to find strength – she found that in her faith.

“I had a lot of self worth issues early on in my career and poured myself into work,” Dr. Tina said. “I felt like I was running without a true purpose until I found my strength in the Lord. My faith gave me direction and helped me build a team of women I cal ‘The Dream Team.’ They brought their strength, their faith in God and their faith in me to help build this incredible pediatris dental practice. We are truly blessed,” Dr. Tina said.

Ten years ago she gathered the initial members of her Dream Team to start a new pediatric dentistry practice in Winston-Salem. Judy Goldbach, Dr. Tina’s office manager, sat with Dr. Tina at the dinning room table and remembers the experience fondly. “It was a very exciting time. Paula France (Dr. Tina’s Financial Coordinator) and I were scheduling from a laptop and had 14 patients lined up for Dr. Tina’s first day,” she said.
